Processing of personal data

Here you will find information about how the Swedish Transport Agency deals with personal data collected through the website and through our e-services.

Register a new report by entering your email address. An email with a report key to the initiated report will be sent to the specified email address.

You can always intermit your reporting and resume it by entering report key.

Reporting of maritime accidents and serious incidents of maritime casualties is mandatory under chapter 6 of the Maritime Act § 14 and § 2 of the Law on the investigation of accidents. Each report will be an entry in the Transport Agency's maritime occurrence database and will form an important basis for the shipping department's analysis operates. It is therefore desirable that the report is filled in as completely as possible.

This type of reporting should not be confused with the shipping company's internal reporting according to SMS or reporting to the maritime industry reporting LAKE/ForeSea. Internal reports or reports to LAKE/ForeSea will not be forwarded to the Transport Agency.
